Scottish Parent Education Facilitators Course (SPEFC)

The aim of the parent education facilitators course is to prepare participants to teach parent education to service users and their families.

' Anyone who is expected to lead parent education sessions needs training in the principals of adult education, in interactive learning techniques and in communication and group skills.' (Underdown 1998)
